If you noticed, there is a file named 'bin.at' before 'bin.au' and a file 'bin.av' after 'bin.au'. 'Bin.au' is just a file in a series of files. These files are NOT ment to be "clicked on" in windows. Doing so will yield you nothing. Do not rename files with an extension. To save the files without them opening up in your browser windows, right click over the link, then choose "save as". I am guessing that you should re-dowload all of the files, but I might be wrong on this. > Now, I get through the installation process up to the Media menu and select > 'install from floppies', at which point it prompts me to insert a floppy in > a:. Note that the distributions must be in a directory on the floppy. Also, you have chosen a seriously large portion of the OS to install from floppies. It could take you a long time. I recommend that you do a network installation or a CDROM installation if you can spring $40 for the disc and the book. The first paragraph of the instructions claims that floppy install is the hard way for a reason. Even installing a minimal portion of the OS can take 50 floppies. Uggh.
