I was wondering if you would be able to help me with a problem i was having with freeBSD.
It wont dial.. it gets the dialtone ,but doesnt dial.
i edited the ppp.conf file in /etc/ppp/ and set it for my  modem port and username and password and access #..
it is a hard
modem..
picks up my modem, with no problem, but when i try ppp -ddial  or if i go into the ppp menu, and type dial, nothing happens but a dialtone  , and an eventual operator..
