Greetings,=0A=0AI posted this on the pc-bsd forum and was directed here.=A0= =0A=0AI installed the latest 8.X and the interface worked fine.=A0=0A=0AYes= terday, I did a clean install of 9.0.=A0=0A=0AThe issue is that the bge0 in= terface is not working.=A0=0AIt is seen by the kernel(ifconfig shows it) bu= t just won't ping.=0AI have tried dhcp and a static address.=A0=0AI used a = backtrack live cd and this worked fine.=A0=0A=0A=0AI did find this bug belo= w but it seemed to only affect 8.2=0A=0AThe bge(4) Ethernet driver has a kn= own issue where the interface is seen but does not respond to networking re= quests. A patch is available for 8.2 (see 155442) and the driver will be fi= xed in 8.3.=0A=0AAny ideas?=A0=0A=0A=0ABill Norton
