There is a very similar bug report that has been open and unresolved for 
over a year.  https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=254472

In bug report 254472 the drm crash actually occurs during suspend with 
the following error written to console.

drmn0 Failed to idle engines, declaring wedged!
