It's in the spec that processes should hang forever unless this option is specified. Here's what i use for NFS mounts: rw,tcp,bg,nfsv3,-r32768,-w32768,intr readwrite tcp connect mount in background readbuf 32k writebuf 32k intruppable mounts.
