This sounds good to me. I seem to recall that most(?) Linux distros used /usr/man many years ago, but they switched to /usr/share/man, I think in the early 2000s. If that's correct, then I consider our /usr/local/man path a historical curiosity that should finally be changed to /usr/local/share/man. Eric
