Hi I have exactly the same problem with Compaq Proliant ML370 (2 x PIII 1000MHz) Updated to RELENG_6_0 from RELENG_5_4. It's freeze at boot with ACPI enabled. I also try 6.0 install CD with the same result. If somebody need dmesg (both 5.4 and 6.0) feel free contact me.
