Can't confirm it to be a kernel problem, since I now have a toasted motherboard. I justr dislike the possible coincidence of it being the same time as a new kernel. The self-test says the motherboard is fragged, and gives me 3 numbers to say so. The rest of the system seems fine. I can't get out of the BIOS, to try to boot. Now, Where the heck do I get a laptop hard-drive adapter on a Sunday night, when tomorrow is a bank-holiday Monday and all the shops are shut? Hoping it's a co-incidence... rik To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
