Please note anything written below is NO WAY intended to be sarcastic, although one could interpet(sp?) it that way. First let's be clear were I stand. I love FreeBSD. I not going anywhere. I'm taxed with the time I do put in. This is a holiday weekend. Second, the PR was send as a request by many "to PR and fix when you can". That is plainly stated in the Handbook. The Handbook also approximately states, "we know you don't have time for everything, this is a volunteer effort, do what you can." Third, I started this process 42 hours ago. I do not follow CVS. I have no interest in CVS; don't expect me to follow CVS either. Also from what little I've read, there is nothing that states one must follow CVS along with DOCS. Fourth, the information sent in was to synchornize and update docs/12486 for 3.1 as it shipped. That is, this information updates docs/12486 not anyone else. Fifth, the information you see was produced by the attached script. If you'll note, the script has no intelligence regarding your actions. If'd you like, I'll build some artifical intelligence thing to track your posts. I'm not going to waste my personal time tracking posts. (BTW, am serious on this AI thing.) 6th, if you fixed, Awesome. I have one more thing to talk about at the install-a-than. And I'm serious. Lastly, if all you want me to do is report. Fine I have no problem with what anyone wants. Just tell me. ========================================== From: Mike Pritchard Subject: Re: docs/12494: (23) canidate whatis(1) entries for docs/12486 To: jmonroy@email.com Date: Sat, 3 Jul 1999 07:27:07 -0500 (CDT) Cc: freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.ORG X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.4ME+ PL54 (25)] > >Synopsis: (23) canidate whatis(1) entries for docs/12486 > /usr/sbin > ---------- > ctm_dequeue: ctm_smail, ctm_rmail - send and receive ctm deltas via mail And if you are going to keep submitting PRs like this, please keep track of the cvs-commit mail. I've already fixed some of the cases you mentioned in your original PR, ctm_dequeue being one of them. That was fixed a week ago. -- Mike Pritchard mpp@FreeBSD.ORG or mpp@mpp.pro-ns.net ----------------------------------------------- FREE!
