I have just now, after many reboot attempts, been able to read the message as it scrolls by. boot: boot device name does not contain ethernet address. Reading the source, I can see what to do. I may need to use 'setnetbootinfo'. How do I do this when I have no alpha system from which to do it ;) -- David Cross | email: crossd@cs.rpi.edu Systems Administrator/Research Programmer | Web: http://www.cs.rpi.edu/~crossd Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, | Ph: 518.276.2860 Department of Computer Science | Fax: 518.276.4033 I speak only for myself. | WinNT:Linux::Linux:FreeBSD To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-alpha" in the body of the message
