Hi Is this very old and widespread problem going to be fixed on amd64 anytime? I have the same problem with my radeon 7500. I get a partially painted screen with a frozen system at gdm login screen, with 4x. With 2x, the monitor jumps into powersave mode and doesn't come back without a reboot. System is 7.0 current. -- Rgrds
