Gary Chrysler <tcg@ime.net> has pointed out that pkg_add just returns to the command prompt on a successful installation, without displaying any message. While this may be ``the Unix way'', it is very confusing for new users who are left with no real clue as to what to do next. He therefore proposes something like displaying a message saying ``To configure the gronkulator program, please edit the files in /usr/local/share/gronkulator as appropriate for your system'' or even just printing out ``The following man pages were installed by this package'' and displaying the results of 'pkg_info -f | grep man'.
