cdrecord only works with scsi devices under freebsd, any documentation you find about using it w/atapi devices is referring to linux, which does support that. for atapi devices, refer to /usr/share/examples/atapi if you're running 3.x, or burncd if you're running 4.x Jeremy On Mon, 24 Apr 2000, Kim J.
