I have my hostname set WITHOUT a domain name on this laptop, since it can live, normally, in one of two domains (work and home). Some MTA's (FreeBSD.org notably) will not accept Sendmail's HELO/EHLO without a FQDN. I need to restart sendmail once the address is set so that sendmail uses the correct FQDN for which network it is in. Anyone got any ideas?
