Upon first login to x11/gdm (Gnome Display Manager) the X session restarts =
when
there is desktop activity (e.g. starting an application) and presents GDM
again. After second login the system is stable. This happens quite frequent=
ly
but is intermittent nonetheless. x11/gnome3 is version 3.16.2 and
x11-servers/xorg-server is version 1.17.4,1.
