The 4.8 Hardware Notes say the card uses the nge driver. I grepped the LINT kernel config file for anything secific to the EG1032 and didn't find anything special, so I recompiled a kernel with "device nge". I also have "device miibus" for the Intel EtherExpress Pro (fxp) card I'm using.
