Hi, I was wondering if anyone can give me some hints on getting openGL going under XFree86-4.0 . I have looked on the freebsd.org site and the opengl.org site. I have a riva TNT2 graphics card and I do not seem to be able to get any hardware acceleration. I know that the hardware and software should be capable of doing it. I found that nvidia have just released some drivers for XFree86-4.0 under linux that support the hardware acceleration. However these are in a rpm package and come in 2 parts a kernel patch and an xgl patch. Can I hack these to get it working under bsd? I have compiled up Mesa 3.0 and compiled XFree86-4.0 from a make in /usr/ports/ Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is quite frustrating and I thought should be pretty easy to do.
