Because you like little red daemon plushies better than penguin plushies?

Or because you appreciate the maturity and tradition of *BSD Un*x, where 
you don't have to buy books with Linux in the title just to figure how how 
it differs from the OS described in books discussing Unix.

*BSD.

Because Linus wanted to play with kernels. NetBSD and OpenBSD (and probably 
others) *also* wanted to do something different.

Does availability of both Hondas and Toyotas dilute the Automotive Concept?
