Gunnar, Check out Fortify for Netscape at www.fortify.net It provides 128-bit security for export-grade browsers and is available for FreeBSD, as well as many other platforms. Disclaimer: I've never used the product, but I've seen it recommended on many security related web sites (e.g., www.squirrel.com).
