Still the date records are being written strangely (after clearing  
the leases file a couple of times, then restarting the dhcpd server):

lease 203.57.11.20 {
   starts 0 1703599557/12/19 08:33:36;
   ends 6 1697719675/03/28 07:37:04;
   binding state active;
   next binding state free;
   hardware ethernet 00:00:e2:90:e9:4c;
   uid "\001\000\000\342\220\351L";
   client-hostname "Travelmate";
}
