The motherboard in this box is an Abyt kd7-e motherboard. The system freezes at pci0 no debug output it just stops. I can get it to boot by choosing option 2, boot with acpi disabled, but option 4 boot in single user mode also produces this freeze. I'm thinking the problem is either the apic device in the kernel or the new pci bus power on options, i'm not sure what these are so adding hw.pci.do_powerstate=0 to sysctl.conf. Has anyone seen this or similar behavior? Without debugging info as i said it freezes, it's hard to provide any additional info. Thanks.
