I have NO_CPU_CFLAGS=true in my /etc/make.conf, and I reseived this message 
first yesterday, but I'm living on 4.3-RC now (FreeBSD 4.3-RC #21: Fri Mar 23 01:23:47 EET 2001) and did not change my hardware configuration in a year.
