This problem occurs after the second time I reboot after installation. In other words after I install, I reboot the computer. If I then reboot one more time it will come up with the following error message during boot, this has happened three times as I have installed freebsd three times: Uncorrectable error coding fsbn 315190 of 315152 - 315263 (w0 bn 622 aa0; cn 728 tn 9 sn37) cannot read: blk 315152 /dev/rwd 0e: unexpected inconsistency; run fsck_ffs manually. the following file system had an unexpected inconsistency ffs: /dev/rud0e (/usr) automatic the sytem check failed; help enter pathname of shell or return for sh:\ The last time that I installed freebsd I could not get out to the Internet on my client machines. I noticed the following message during installation. cant connect to sys conf socket: no such file or directory As of right now I have shut down the firewall and am running without one!!!!!
