I use the generic kernel on the system, the card has been activated but cannot assign an ip-address with ifconfig to it. The system will hang immediately and I have to turn it off. I have attached the output of dmesg, ifconfig and scanpci. Maybe someone of, possibly you, had the same problem and solved it successfully. In this case it would be great, if you contact me and tell how you did go about it.
