Hello! I have the following request: Can the patches/ directory handling be changed? It's defenitely bad to have tons of same patches in patches.{arch} if only _one_ patch differs. Can't we just change the behaviour to: * Suck in patches from a master-patch dir, patches/ * _THEN_ patch with platform specific patches? That would save much space in the repository, since for many ports most of the patches are FreeBSD-specific and then, sometimes, that are arch issues. We should do that, even since there is effort to port FreeBSD to Sparc, PPC and IA-64, afaik. And we should do that NOW, since we have only ONE patches.alpha dir at the moment.
