Hello,
I would like to return to a virgin installation of apache13.
I have tried the following:
/usr/ports/www/apache13/make deinstall
/var/db/pkg/pkg_delete apache-1.3.26_3
Nothing works. I still end up with the rubbish from my attempted
Frontpage configs.
Couldn't be much plainer than this: How do I remove *ALL* instances of
this apache, and install a fresh clean apache13?
Thanks to all that respond. I've included the output from attempting to
remove with pkg_delete here:
# pkg_delete apache-1.3.26_3
pkg_delete: unable to completely remove directory
'/usr/local/etc/apache'
pkg_delete: unable to completely remove directory
'/usr/local/share/doc/apache'
pkg_delete: unable to completely remove directory
'/usr/local/www/data-dist'
pkg_delete: unable to completely remove directory '/usr/local/www'
pkg_delete: couldn't entirely delete package (perhaps the packing list
is
incorrectly specified?)
To delete Apache user permanently, use 'pw userdel www'
