--=-1HTX+Z+n3bkF0JroR0VF Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hello, I would like to return to a virgin installation of apache13. I have tried the following: /usr/ports/www/apache13/make deinstall /var/db/pkg/pkg_delete apache-1.3.26_3 Nothing works. I still end up with the rubbish from my attempted Frontpage configs. Couldn't be much plainer than this: How do I remove *ALL* instances of this apache, and install a fresh clean apache13? Thanks to all that respond. I've included the output from attempting to remove with pkg_delete here: # pkg_delete apache-1.3.26_3 pkg_delete: unable to completely remove directory '/usr/local/etc/apache' pkg_delete: unable to completely remove directory '/usr/local/share/doc/apache' pkg_delete: unable to completely remove directory '/usr/local/www/data-dist' pkg_delete: unable to completely remove directory '/usr/local/www' pkg_delete: couldn't entirely delete package (perhaps the packing list is incorrectly specified?) To delete Apache user permanently, use 'pw userdel www' # Checking to see what's been done: # ls Acrobat4 etc libdata sbin Acrobat5 include libexec share bin info man src doc lib private www # ls -la www total 4 drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 512 Jul 20 13:04 . drwxr-xr-x 18 root wheel 512 Jul 20 12:42 .. drwxr-xr-x 10 www www 1536 Jul 20 13:04 data-dist #=20 --=20 Stacey Roberts B.Sc.
