To whom it may concern, First of all, thanks for your work. As you may know, adding an engine on Firefox doesn't work. I installed it from the FreeBSD ports. Anyway, I've found a quick fix I would like to share with you; chown -R yourusername /usr/X11R6/lib/firefox/lib/mozilla-1.6/searchplugins/ I have tested it on FreeBSD 4.9-RELEASE and FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE.
