I had a test box running FreeBSD 6.2 + Xorg 6.9; the Matrox G400 worked fine using x11-servers/mga_hal. Then it got upgraded, to -CURRENT of about 5 days ago and Xorg 7.2, and now I get this: (II) LoadModule: "mga" (II) Loading /usr/local/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//mga_drv.so dlopen: Shared object "libc.so.6" not found, required by "mga_drv.so" (EE) Failed to load /usr/local/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//mga_drv.so (II) UnloadModule: "mga" (EE) Failed to load module "mga" (loader failed, 7) instead of a xdm login screen. :-( Both /usr/local/bin/Xorg and mga_hal have been re-compiled under the current environment. So ... where is this coming from? I suppose I could put something in libmap.conf, but I'd rather fix whatever pilot error brought us here. Please - where do I start? Robert Huff
