NT 4.0 Server off the shelf can only do 4 (or is it 2?), but it's can be customized by the hardware manufacturer for more CPU's. Somebody (NEC?) had a 10-way Pentium Pro box a few years ago that ran NT 4.0. Windows 2000 Datacenter Server (is it out yet?) will do 32.
