There's nothing wrong with the instructions on the page you refer to. A more freebsd-ish solution might be to use the ports: # cd /usr/ports/www/mod_php4; make install; apachectl start The only major difference being that ports will make PHP a loadable module instead of compiling it directly into the apache binary. Then just make sure your domain name points to the right machine. It should Just Work(tm). If not, tell us where it goes wrong (be specific). If your problems are with dyndns.org, I can't help you.
