Start with enabling crash dumps to see if it is a kernel issue or
a hardware issue:

In /etc/rc.conf:

    dumpdev="AUTO"
    dumpdir="/usr/crash"

The second reboot will take muuuuch longer because it is saving
this, but it gives some information to start with.
