Hello folks,
I am abit stuck with some problem here which is merely annoying than a
diseaster (since I use /dev/audio only for toyings anyway :)) but
sometimes when I try to read and write from the same audio device at the
same time I get: pcm0: record interrupt timeout, channel dead kernel
message and after this every time I try to open /dev/audio or /dev/dsp for
reading I get 'EBUSY' returned. I still can write there (and produce
sounds) however. The only way to fix a problem which I found is to reboot
the box, but I wonder if there's any easier workaround :-)

Relevant info regarding the box is below:
FreeBSD 4.2-STABLE (snapshot as of last Friday)
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) Processor (600.02-MHz 686-class CPU)
...
pcm0: <VIA VT82C686A AC'97 Audio> port 0xb000-0xb003,0xb400-0xb403,0xb800-0xb8ff irq 5 at device 4.5 on pci0

Any hints would be appreciated mucho :)

thanks in advance

-Fyodor
