To: FreeBSD Mailing List MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I have a server that I've upgraded over the last year from FreeBSD 4.1 Release to 4.5 Stable. I printed the output from pkg_info and found that I don't use most of the applications. I would like to pkg_delete all of the packages and reinstall only the ones I'm really using from the updated ports. If I pkg_delete them all, I should be left with a functional core system....right? Or are certain packages a part of the base system? Thanks, Andrew Gould __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
