It makes a big difference: the PCMCIA version uses some Xircom proprietary silicon that I've written a driver for; I'd heard that the CardBus version used someone else's hardware, seems it's the DEC part... If you've got the PCMCIA model, the driver homepage is at http://ukug.uk.freebsd.org/~scott/xe_drv/ and there's an archive of the mailing list at: http://www.lovett.com/lists/freebsd-xircom/ CardBus support on FreeBSD is still under development, so you might be SOL if that's what you have. I don't have a CardBus machine, so someone else will have to help you out there.
