I have tried updating the system but the panics stayed (two times a week). There are all related to network activity (especially to my perl-based mail filter (SpamAssassin), but also ftp activity, etc...). I've attached a gdb session with a crash dump (based on a debug kernel). I would be glad to provide more information. All I can see is the mention of the if_xl driver (in all my dumps).
