Yes, of course, but it happens often enough now that a more idiot proof solution is necessary. I have something similar in mind, but slightly more robust in the case of multiple custom files. A certain amount of "Well don't do that," is ok, but from a design standpoint when you see the same feet being shot off over and over it's time to unload the gun.
