Did you cvsup the ports/Mk directory?  You _must_ do this each time you
upgrade your ports.  The new sed on -stable and -current has a -i option.
If your OSVERSION is less than 460101, then you will have to install the
textproc/sed_inplace port, but this should be handled for you
automatically.

I tested this on -stable, and it does work.
