Hello Everyone,

   Only one Question. I have a NIS server running on Linux. Linux
   encrypts passwords using DES and FreeBSD uses MD5. I have set up my
   freebsd box to talk to Linux NIS server. Ypcat, Ypwhich and other
   commands work on my FreeBSD box. Here is a list of my /usr/lib/ on
   FreeBSD.

   joshua:(FreeBSD)> ls -la libcry*
   lrwxrwxrwx  1 root  wheel  13 16 юты 13:06 libcrypt.a -> libdescrypt.a
   lrwxrwxrwx  1 root  wheel  12 22 ютє 22:36 libcrypt.so -> libscrypt.so
   lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel  11 17 юты 14:05 libcrypt.so.2 -> libcrypt.so
   lrwxrwxrwx  1 root  wheel  18 16 юты 13:06 libcrypt.so.2.0 -> libdescrypt.so.2.0
   lrwxrwxrwx  1 root  wheel  15 16 юты 13:06 libcrypt_p.a -> libdescrypt_p.a

   Still i can`t login using an account made on my Linux NIS Server...
   What should i do next? Any help would be great.

   Sorry for my terrible english.

Best regards,
---
  Alexei V. Alexandrov
