I haven't had issues with tmpfs even on 7.4, so I assume it's fine on 
CURRENT

As bad as dhclient in rc?

My angle is making troubleshooting easier (as above with rc_debug and 
rc_info) and also easing the adoption of the script as a tool for newer 
users.
