Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I have a FreeBSD 4.2-R router on which the netstat -i output shows a very high Oerr count: Name Mtu Network Address Ipkts Ierrs Opkts Oerrs Coll de0 1500 00:00:d1:1a:ee:7c 1640198 0 1156336 1156199 0 de1 1500 00:00:d1:1a:ee:7d 1243993 0 1556497 1556427 0 The Oerrs count has always been just under the Opkts count since the machine was installed a little over a month ago. How do I fix this? Given that the router otherwise flawlessly does its job, is this even a problem?
