I can hear myself with dd if=/dev/dsp4 of=/dev/dsp bs=128

No other (audio) daemons are running at this point. I tried FF with the 
pulseaudio option checked and it worked (kind of, sometimes the input 
just stopped after 2 seconds), but I don't like it when a lot of Gnome 
stuff gets pulled in. So I would like to get it to work with OSS. And I 
get the feeling that it should be relatively easy because input works with 
uTox after a small change in a config file.
