Unfortunately these drivers > don't work on FreeBSD. The easiest way to set it up initially is probably to use a Windows machine, install JetAdmin on it, and let that find the JetDirect for you. Then you can set an IP address. Otherwise, you may be able to see the JetDirect's IP address if you run a network monitor of some sort. I'm pretty sure ntop would show it as long as it's plugged into a hub with your computer (not a switch). (ntop is listed as "forbidden" in ports because it has a remote exploit.
