I'm running 2.1.5R with X11R6 (from the bsd distribution). I have a Diamond Stealth 64 DRAM (S3 Trio64) PCI video card. Whenever I try and 'startx', my system freezes; the hard drive light goes on steady and I have to do a hard reset, which usually forces me to manually fsck. I've read the man pages, the XF86 site, posted my configuration to the newsgroups, and tried many, many configurations. Needless to say, I'm tired of rebooting :). Has anyone else had problems with similiar hardware? If so, how did you solve it? Thanks in advance! Neil Jensen Habanero Studios Ltd.
