/usr/lib/libcrypto.so.2 has permissions of 444. when i try to run a: make installworld it tries to rm /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.2 but fails. i tried to do it by hand: #rm -f /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.2 but it failed. if i copied it to another directory with the same permissions (both the directory and the file) i am able to remove it. this leads me to believe that it is being used by something and is locked. however, i am in single user mode with only the following running: /sbin/init (pagedaemon) (vmdaemon) (bufdaemon) (syncer) -sh (sh) (swapper) would one of these processes be using it? and in any case how can i get around this to continue my make installworld? thank you. -- Joseph Holland King | "God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our | conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is His | megaphone to rouse a deaf world."
