I think I know a good way to find out at runtime whether dladdr is implemented, and also a safer way to roll your own version of dladdr to use when necessary. I have to do some Real Work at the moment, but I'll follow up with more details soon. (In other words: I have devised a clever and elegant proof of this theorem.
