We're down from 404 to 292 vop functions (= -27% !). Keep you eyes open for anything I might have botched. BUT REMEMBER TO RECOMPILE YOUR LKMS before reporting trouble! Poul-Henning PS: Now that this starts to look much simpler I hope we will see more people hack filesystems. It's a most productive and interesting area. I have a bunch of ideas in case anybody lacks a good idea for some work/project/hacking. > Modified files: > sys/gnu/ext2fs ext2_alloc.c ext2_extern.h ext2_inode.c > ext2_readwrite.c ext2_vfsops.c > ext2_vnops.c > sys/isofs/cd9660 cd9660_vnops.c > sys/kern vfs_default.c vnode_if.src > sys/miscfs/deadfs dead_vnops.c > sys/miscfs/devfs devfs_vnops.c > sys/miscfs/fdesc fdesc_vnops.c [...] -- Poul-Henning Kamp FreeBSD coreteam member phk@FreeBSD.ORG "Real hackers run -current on their laptop."
