Hiya. I don't have a solution to your '"(null)"("(null)")' problem, but you should note that /etc/defaults/rc.conf includes: pccard_conf="/etc/defaults/pccard.conf" and that file contains the line: include /etc/pccard.conf near the top, making it unnecessary to copy entries from one file to the other unless you need to modify those entries. If the default entry works without modification, simply including 'pccard_enable="YES"' in your /etc/rc.conf should be sufficient to get most cards working. I will say that I've seen similar behaviour when inserting certain other cards ... notably a D-Link DFE-650 (which should be supported, according to pccard.conf), but I haven't had the time to follow up on it; I have a 3C589D which works perfectly. You might want to borrow some other PCMCIA cards and see if they give the same results. But I'll let more clueful experts diagnose the real problem. ;-) On Fri, Jul 16, 2021 at 04:35:05PM +0100, matteotti wrote: > > Hello, > I have installed FreeBSD-4.3-RELEASE on an IBM ThinkPAD A22m.
