This makes it impossible to make backups (localy) of this machine :( I tried this with my ahc-2940 which i normally use and with a ncr53c810 card (asus2000) from my linux-machine. The ncr-driver doesn't give as much information, but the problem is the same. The tape works fine on the other (linux) machine with the ncr-card. I run cvsup frequently (twice a week or so). This problem has existed for a few months now. (it used to work better with 2.1.0). The machine is in use as my proxy and news-server, other than this FreeBSD is running like a charm!
