( 1 ) I am having difficulty configuring lp. I have an HP-Laserjet 4 with
Postscript and 6 megs of RAM. I can print PS files by su-ing to root and
cat-ing them to /dev/lpt0 -- but I cannot print with lp (I get blank
pages from the printer.) Please advise. (I probably did not configure
printcap properly, but I am not sure what to do.)
( 2 ) To use a Mitsumi CD to play audio CDs can/should I set a CD-player to
dev /dev/mcd0c?
( 3 ) Is there a way to display a message before the 'login:' prompt?
( 4 ) Is there a sample ppp setup/configuration file that I can use
to setup my own (dynamic IP, PPP connection and hostnames, etc.)?
